When we embrace the totality of our inner world—our thoughts and beliefs, our deepest feelings and our physical cues—we can return to our natural wholeness or wellness, which also shapes our outer world.
In order to Stay Healthy, we need to engage all aspects of ourselves. By seeking balance in body, heart, mind and spirit, we can assess the strengths and weaknesses in our current lifestyle.
The fastest path to wholeness comes from nurturing and strengthening the four realms of our Self: Spiritual Mental Emotional Physical
I call this The Peace Medicine approach.
In my 50 years of being a lifestyle and holistic doctor, along with operating an integrated wellness center, I have learned two important concepts:
1. By having peace of mind and making quality choices,
we can create our own health destiny.
2. At the same time, when we have healthy behaviors,
we have greater peace of mind and heart.
Illness often carries a message to us: some kind of change is needed in our life. In order to heal, we are often asked to learn and evolve on many levels.
Most of us can vastly improve our lives by becoming more conscious of our personal inadvertent contribution to our own suffering. We can learn the signs that prevent our bodies from having peace within and vitality throughout—and not carry our issues in our tissues.
Wholeness involves connecting all of our levels, which is the ultimate investment in our health, our happiness and our life.
We normally repress a litany of health issues, such as:
• Addictions • Cravings
• Emotional Triggers • Closed mindsets
• Increased Stress • Increased Anxiety
• ...and so much more.
Once we become more adept at acknowledging our health problems, we peel away layers, like an onion, those symptoms that need to be heard long before they become dis-eased.
Heeding the cues in all areas of our whole self and making new choices every day creates the difference between living with symptoms and disease or experiencing...
• Vibrancy • Energy
• Creativity • Vitality
Many of us don’t feel we need healing physically; however, we still suffer in our emotional, mental and/or spiritual lives. We can investigate these precise areas and find keys to our well-being.
At this level we focus on our nutrition and use various approaches from the book, The Detox Diet, such as fresh juices and Master Cleanser. We will work on identifying and eliminating unhealthy habits then create an individualized healthy eating plan. We will continue this good eating for the entire 4-week program.
Often we don’t process our emotional experiences so they get stuck in our muscles and tissues leading to stress, tightness and pain. I call this "Emotional Indigestion." We'll work together to identify these emotions and connect with them. Hypnotherapy and guided imagery will help us clear them from our bodies.
You ever get stuck in thoughts and stories that you hold in your mind and heart? What about worry, fear and anxiety about your relationships, your work, or the world at large? We can calm our mental activity and alter the stories that we tell ourselves. We have more power over these areas than we acknowledge.
Who are we in our deepest selves? What is our reality and can we improve it? When we really feel good and truthful, we can be of service to others and help support a better world. In this module, we will learn mindfulness and awareness techniques to help us connect better with our life path.

“This has been a profound experience for me. I feel like cobwebs have dissipated from from all the realms...physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual. I'm experiencing more focus, clarity, & stamina. Long buried issues, especially from my childhood, have come up from the hidden places into the light. I found a counselor who is perfect for me and this exploration. As I embrace & let go, a lightness and freedom allow my authentic self to come forward in new ways.
With gratitude & thanks.”

“I experienced the profound changes others did, including clearer skin and greatly lessening hip arthritis. I was shocked at how much the diet changed me - and how bad (even my relatively healthy) diet was.
Thank you!”
